After more than a decade of nonstop touring (up to 250 shows a year) with Hello Dave–including multiple trips overseas to play for the troops, sharing stages with Big and Rich, Carrie Underwood, The Doobie Brothers and many more–Magoo is Stepping out ALONE.

Involved in church and school choirs from a young age, Mike McGohan (aka “Magoo”) always loved music. But after “borrowing” Rob Peeter’s guitar freshman year of college, he knew this was what he wanted to do.  Spending much of the early 90s playing open mics and eventually joining Slim Diggins and then Butterside Down, music had become the focus. In 1998, after a few times jamming, Hello Dave asked Mike to get on board full time.  With two guitar-playing “Mikes” already in the band, “Magoo” (a nickname from a High School coach) was back.

Now with Hello Dave taking some time off, Magoo has gathered songs he has written along his journey and a few of his favorites by others to make his first solo Record ALONE. The new journey begins here and we would like to welcome you to join the ride…
